1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records that a website can ask a browser to store and return on later requests. Similar technologies can include browser storage, session identifiers, and other mechanisms that remember a setting or help a site maintain a technical state.
These technologies can serve different purposes. Some are strictly necessary to provide a requested function. Others may remember preferences, measure aggregate use, or support additional services. Their legal treatment depends on their purpose, the visitor's location, and the law that applies.
2. Current use on this website
The current Myrelqorianessa website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising, behavioural profiling, or third-party analytics cookies. Ordinary navigation and enquiry interactions do not require a persistent advertising identifier.
If a service provider supporting publication of the website uses a strictly necessary technical identifier for security, delivery, or traffic management, that identifier should be limited to the purpose for which it is required.
3. Strictly necessary technology
Strictly necessary technology is technology required to deliver a function that the visitor requests or to protect the basic operation of a service. Examples can include a temporary session state, security mechanism, traffic-management function, or a preference that must be remembered to provide a requested interface.
Where such technology is truly necessary, it is used only for the relevant technical purpose. It should not be repurposed for unrelated behavioural advertising.
4. Optional analytics, preference, or marketing technology
The current site does not include optional advertising or behavioural profiling technology. If optional analytics or preference technology is added in a future deployment and applicable law requires consent before it is stored or accessed, the site will be updated with an appropriate choice mechanism before that optional technology is activated.
Any future notice should identify the purpose, provider where relevant, expected duration, and how the visitor can change a choice. The Privacy Policy would also be updated if the change introduces new personal-information handling.
5. Browser controls and withdrawal of choice
Most browsers provide settings to view, block, or remove cookies and site storage. Blocking strictly necessary technology can prevent a site function from operating as intended. Removing a stored preference may cause the site to ask for that preference again.
Where consent is required for an optional technology, withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it. Withdrawal applies to future use and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
6. Server logs are not the same as cookies
A hosting server may create routine request logs even when a browser cookie is not used. Such logs can contain request time, path, response status, browser information, or network information needed for security and diagnostics. Their handling is described under the Privacy Policy rather than treated as a browser cookie simply because the information is technical.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may revise this policy when site functionality or deployment technology changes. The revision date at the top identifies the current published version. If a future feature materially changes the use of optional cookies or similar technology, this policy and any required consent interface will be updated accordingly.
